An Excam single action six shooter in 22. and I still have it in a shoebox full of junk lol. I bought it before I shaved regularly because it was cheap. It’s not very accurate lol

Probably a French military surplus MAS-49/56 that was rechambered from 7.5x54mm French to 7.62x51mm (308). It slam fired on me when I chambered a round, of course it was pointed in a safe direction but quite disconcerting!

I later read about many issues with these conversions. It was fine and reliable in the original 7.5 mm French round. Don’t get one converted to 308!

I had a High Standard derringer that had such a hard trigger pull that some would give up before getting it to fire. It would shoot but it had to be a 20 pound pull at least. I don't remember what I ever did with it.

Hi Point nine. paid $125 weighed 9 pounds and still hurt to shoot. Gave it to my brother, against his protests. Saw one at a show, guy offered it at $50 and I still refused. Fool me once!

Taurus TCP 380 aka PT738... Young and dumb is the only reason why I bought it. Sent back 2 times and the 3rd time they sent me back a new 9mm even though they still made a different 380 ..I had a lot of 380 ammo because I was trying to find something it would cycle more than two rounds.

1981 vintage AMT "Hardballer" 1911 .45 ACP. It was a "Jam-a-matic" Tried everything to make it run right but it was a hunk of junk

Savage 24 .

Bloody thing would drop the hammer trying to get the exposed hammer cocked after a flushing bird that we ended up with more than one kid with a bloody thumb who wouldn’t try a second shot.

Seemed like a great gun for the purpose but it was terrible!

I had a Star Firestar .40. Heavy as a boat anchor and sharp edges everywhere. Accuracy was barely adequate. Reliability so so. It was the first gun I bought for CC. After a yr i ditched it for a SP101 in 357. It too was heavy but very high quality.

About 1990, I bought a stainless steel Randall .45ACP 1911. Bad steel, very soft, probably not properly heat treated. After only 200 or so rounds the slide had galled and worn the rails so much it rattled and moved around. Sear was soft and wore down. Then it started double-tapping on it's own. Randall wouldn't service it, claimed it was out of warranty (gun store had it on their shelf for about a year before I bought it). I stripped it down to all parts and sold it for $50 to a gunsmith to part out.

I've been pretty good about never buying junk like Jennings/Raven/Hi-Point, but I have had a few that were "disappointing" and/or "useless"...

NAA Mini-revolver in .22LR. Shot minute of barn door at 10ft, and was ridiculous to manipulate. A useless curiosity.

High Standard Double Derringer .22 mag. Liked the idea as a deep concealment backup. Unfortunately it was another minute of barn door gun with the super heavy trigger pull. You could also use it to start fires, as the muzzle blast was extreme. No way you could fire it from a pocket without lighting yourself on fire.

SA M-1A Scout.... 4+ MOA at 100 yds. 'Nuff said.

Agreed! That was gonna be my second choice as worst gun I ever owned! I got an AMT “Hardballer” in 1984. Most unreliable 1911 I ever owned. Gunsmiths refused to work on it due to the tolerances being nowhere near milspec 1911’s. I ended up trading it for 5 boxes of 300 win mag ammo!
