What is up with Mel Gibson's ravings? And he doesn't look in good health

I saw him on the news when they had the recordings of his rant to his ladyfriend, he does not look like the same person as he did a couple years ago when he directed the "Passion of the Christ". He seems to have aged rapidly, and just looked not in good health. It looks to me that there could be a bit of an alcohol problem involved.

Couple bad life decisions..(imho) plus the booze his kickin his tail.
I think he maybe so dang mad at himself for getting in this position
so late in the game put him in meltdown...too bad.

I don't know Mel Gibson, but anyone can see that he has some devils eating at his soul. They probably began gnawing at him in childhood, and got fatter as he aged. That is probably why he drinks so much.

And we haven't heard what that girl might have done to set him off. Some women would try the patience of the best of men! She had that recorder to hand when he exploded, leading me to think that she may have set him up for at least some of what he said. And we've heard none of what she said!

He looked good in Edge of Darkness.

I really do not care about an actors personal life. I sure don't watch those "entertainment news" shows.

Off topic, I love the movie Signs, and think Mel Gibson did a great job in it. I plan on watching Signs up in my grandmother's upper field next week when my brother comes in on leave. It's fun watching that movie out in the middle of a large, open field at night.

Very few of them are even remotely smart or have half an idea about the real world. They are playing a part, all of their lives. They kind of follow each other, and mimic what they think the rest of them are doing.

I said before on a different thread that "Man is not meant to be worshiped!" Not many can handel it for long.

Too bad about Mel - so much work that I admire. Especially the Patriot. My guess is the bottle is kicking his butt. Plus he married a woman 1/3 his own age. Why? We know why. Even as good it might be, it doesn't make for a marriage.

"There, but for the grace of God, go I."

rule 1) To SOME women, the almighty dollar is a strong aphrodisiac.
rule 2) SOME men are so deluded, they think rule 1 does not pertain
to them.

...he married a woman 1/3 his own age...

Not just any woman, but a Russian woman. As someone who has had a Russian girlfriend for 12 years, I speak from experience. There is a reason that the average life expectancy of a Russian man is 55 years. Sometimes, death is preferable to living with a Russian woman.

I think that the Jews steal his blood while he sleeps... Beyond that he's a bit weird and he drinks too much. It happens. He's still less strange than many people, in and out of Hollywood.

Like a lot of us, most likely upset over the economy...his 1/2 billion net worth is probably down to 450 million.

XXXXXXXXXXX

Didn't he just settle or have judgement against him in his last marriage where he had to pay the ex-wife 500 milion dollars? That's one hell of a judgement. I'm sure she did a lot to earn 1/2 of everything he ever made and even his future earnings. Turtle food around here...............

How much did Clint Eastwood wind up paying that crazy wild eyed skank Sandra whatever? I think it was a pretty penny back in the day.

Mel Gibson cheated on his wife and left his 7 children. I guess what goes around comes around.

I always said that an actor only stands where a director tells him to, wears what a costumer puts on him, and speaks lines someone else wrote. How that qualifies them for adoration, I don't know.

I like that.

What I can't stand is when the History channel or someone puts them in a commentator role as if they have the slightest clue about that topic. They just read their lines and look important I guess.
