Kids getting caught in crossfire as US gun violence surges

So lets see, it is "gun" violence in the major cities listed in the article?? (The forever violent ones)

Why isn't the title "GANG" violence????

July in Chicago ended as it began: Mourning the death of a child whose only mistake was venturing outside to play when someone armed with a gun came to the neighborhood hunting for an enemy.

Chicago's police chief mentioned close to 150,000 gang members operate in Chicago. Some are hard core life long members that bang well into their 60's if they live that long. The media labels kids as between the age of 0 to 19. Some of these kids start as young as 10 and develop their own junior gangs. They war neighborhood to neighborhood and shoot at each other from stolen cars and bikes. Your a guy in a car with your GF and a baby in a car seat, so what. There's no special dispensation for women and children.

Every day I look at our crummy local newspaper, all the people arrested are past offenders, charged with possession of a firearm/ drugs by a felon and this is not a real "high crime" area like those big cities. Over and over the same thing, multiple arrests and yet they are out doing the same thing.
