Hi Gents,

I'm sure this question has been asked before but one more time won't hurt.

What is your favorite gun to actually shoot? Photos would be nice.

Now to be honest I'm more of a collector at heart than a shooter, so I've probably owned more 'collectable' guns than newly manufactured ones.

That said my favorite gun to shoot is my Robinson Arms XCR in 300BLK - pistol format with brace. I had this build by Robinson a couple of years ago. Their customer service was the best I have ever experienced. The gun is just superb in every respect. The sub-gun size means for me it's a lot easier to handle than a long gun (I'm not getting any younger) but it's easier to accurately shoot than a pistol. In fact it's so accurate it actually makes me look good and that's saying something.

I simply just love shooting this beauty - perhaps more so than any other gun I have ever owned.

So, what's your favorite gun to shoot and why?

Cheers,

Roy

P.s. This is my first 300Blk gun and I 'love' this caliber.

I love shooting my Robinson XCR-M 7.62x51. Reliable, accurate, easy to run.

But when it comes to what makes me grin with every shot (up to about 15) it is this:

I have several. At least a couple of them are .22LR. I have been enjoying shooting my more recently acquired Ruger BH 9mm. It eats any of my lower quality reloads I accumulated over the years and is very soft shooting. My 1911s are always enjoyable. Yeah, I'm thinking I don't really have a favorite.

I have many S&W revolvers, but my
most fun to shoot and the one(s) I
turn to most are the GP-100s.

After the GP-100s, just for relaxation
and to see how small my patterns can
be, it's one of several Model 14 Smiths
or a Model 15.

1911 with a .22 Conversion Unit

It's satisfying making a target look like this. The .22 Conversion Unit is a Marvel Precision Unit#1. The receiver is a worked over Norinco M1911-A1.
