What is your favorite Smith pocket revolver

360J (only one I've got right now) - need to find a model 36 so I can say I have more than one ... really like the way it rides in the Milt Sparks VMII.

Darn!!! I don't even have a pocket smith. But still carry my Bersa .380.
Need to get me one.... I'll put it on my wish list....

I carry either a 640 loaded with the Hornady 110 Grain .38 SPL Critical Defense rounds, or the 940 loaded with the 115 Grain Hornady rounds.

The other guns to the right are owned for curiosity's sake: SP101 in 9MM and the new .380 Taurus Revolver (still being evaluated).

Very cool, I did not know that Ruger made the SP101 in 9x19.

A 296, five rounds of .44 Special 200gr Gold Dot goodness in a 2.5" 19.7oz AirLite Ti and carried in a Mika pocket holster!

You said favorite... my usual pocket protector is it's smaller sibling - a 642 in a similar Mika holster. When I have room, it's the 296!

I didn't include this one in my first post because, no matter what
pocket I tried carrying it in, even in the pocket of a heavy coat, it was
still too heavy for my liking when it came to pocket carry. I hate when the weight
of a gun drags my clothes down on one side and I hated it even more that this gun, which is
one of my favorites, didn't work out as expected in that role. Now it gets carried cross-draw.

I have some smooth, S&W "Banana" grips coming
soon and this is the gun that they'll be tried on first.

Ogi, sorry to hear that 649-3 such a burden for you.:( If you feel the need to lift that burden give me a call.;)

My 632-2 327 magnum. It rides in a galco pocket holster with the S&W logo on it.

model 332 airlite centennial 32 H&R Magnum with wood service grips usually in a DeSantis Nemesis

I'm happy with my M&P 340. I currently keep it loaded with .357 Magnum Remington Golden Saber 125gr BJHPs. This is a "medium velocity" load and the recoil generated is quite manageable.

I usually carry the 340 in a pocket as my BUG, but on the rare occasions when it's serving as my primary, I then carry it in a Lobo Gun Leather enhanced pancake holster.

My EDC: 642-1, CT 405s, Galco pocket holster, and Spyderco Embassy auto for when I run out of ammo.

All of you guys need bigger pockets. Try 29-2, 4". Makes for a great cardio workout!!

Older 640 in 38 Sp. only. Soon to be carried in a Kramer pocket holster.

I like the now-discontinued 342pd and Ti and the 337pd and Ti (bobbed hammers of course!) for pocket carry.

Around 11 oz and noticeably lighter in the pocket than the Airweights to me. YMMV Not as fun as the Airweights to shoot a lot of rounds through.

Qballwill's 342Ti on page 1 is a nice example of the breed.

I have two right now. One is a 640-1 and the other a 337Ti(no IL). The 337 has a bobbed hammer and a Big Dot front sight and Uncle Mikes Boot Grip. The 337 gets the most carry due to its light weight. Its loaded with Hornady Critical Defense ammo. I am not very enthusiastic about pocket carry so its carried in an IWB holster and sometimes a Galco Ankle Glove when I am going to spend a lot of time seated and/or driving. I have other small pistols including a P3AT, Sig 238, Colt Mustang Pocketlite and a tiny NAA .22 Mag mini-revolver but I am most comfortable with the 337 and 640-1.
