What kind of knife do you carry, if any?

SAK and Benchmade Mini-Griptilian. Every day.

Could never understand the mentality of people who don't carry one.
It is sadly funny watching some knifeless millenial or anyone trying to open a bag of snack food out of a vending machine by tearing at it with their teeth like an animal, or opening an Amazon shipment box with their fingers.

SuperTinker SAK and a Spyderco Delica here. I probably use the scissors, tweezers, and bottle opener the most on the SAK, and the Delica for almost everything else.

Have not been with out a pocket knife for more than six decades.

I'm liking this'n for a few years now.

Case Single Blade Trapper Lockback Assisted Opening.

I also carry this one sometimes,

Here's a pretty cool "flipper" shown with a 1946 M&P. It's a Bushmaster Tactical Rescue. Great knife but a little large for EDC. It's my glove compartment knife.:D

Just started carrying this Cold Steel Spartan. Came from the factory nice and sharp. Getting easier to open with use and it's nice and easy to close.

It's a little heavier than my other knives and I like the heft.

EDC Knife, Buck model 290.

I carry a Buck model 290 knife. It is a flipper type with a lock to prevent it from opening in your pocker. The blade stays sharp, and the blade is only a little larger than 2 inches. Perfect for me.

Back to the Queens

I've noticed that many of the knives that people say they carry don't appear to be used. I wonder what kind of knife they use. Larry

I can't speak for others but I do use my #11 daily. It is the one on the left in the picture and is my first, bought when I was in the Navy. I've been collecting for a while which is why the picture I show is full of new looking ones. Same useful knives just waiting for the next generations to appreciate them.

Wow, GREAT thread!!!

I've carried a SOG Pentagon Elite 1 clip knife since about 2003, along with Case Sodbuster Jr. down in pocket. Before the SOG, I carried a Case Shark Tooth for many years. SOG came from my nephew, a Chief Gunner's Mate who was deployed with SEAL team in a MIUW unit. Most of them carried the PE so he bought me one. It gets and stays REAL sharp, thanks to EdgePro sharpener.

I use these knives constantly around my shop and opening whatever needs opening...

I have a drawer full of folders, flippers, butterflies, fixed blades, and tomahawks, but there are two folders that I use all the time: an Emerson CQC-8 and a Cold Steel Air Lite. The Emerson is for going places and the Cold Steel is for around the farm. The Emerson is a tank and the Cold Steel is light, thin, and easy to carry. Both are very well made, well designed, and feature great steel.

I carry a benchmade mediator every day... only time it's not in my pocket I'm hunting and a skinning knife is strapped to my belt.

These my EDC's, the wood handle Civivi on it's way.
