ya they're cheap enough to try out. i bought 2 sets of black so i could cut 1 up to different sizes and cover the entire rail/leave space for my add-ons.
What do you use to cut them ??

Knife or scissors. They're soft enough.
I've done the Magpul XTM Panels and they were way to fat. Love the ladders. Got black ones from the Army/Navy store and recently rattle canned them FDE.
I went with the Magpul XTM covers..... I like the digital camo look![]()
are the magpuls more expensive that cheap ebay covers? seems like a silly part to worry about name brand.

What color do you think would go best with my Realtree APG 15/22??
I went with 3 different colors on my Realtree APG and it looks great. I got OD, foliage green and FDE. Also went with a foliage green AVG2. Looks super with FDE mags.
I put pink ones on my wife Pink Platinum with a black AVG2, black Hogue grip.
I want to see pictures of your APG. I've been debating on what to do with mine.

At $12 to $13 EACH, I passed them up. My Mako ladders were $13 for for three. I bought the ones on Amazon that were $5 for four for my grandson's rifle. He's not going to get them hot enough to melt.
I can see the MagPuls on an actual 5.56 used in combat or competition, but not for a 15-22.
If they are US-made, they are all made by the same company; regardless of whose name is on the package - they are all the same quality.
