What model of these S&Ws

Both were built before S&W started using Model numbers. The first one is a K Frame Model 10 38 Special, or it appears to be.
The second appears to be a N frame Model 1917 in 45 ACP or it could also be a 44 Spl. Someone will be along shortly to give you a better description.

Agree with bronco, the first one is a post-war (after 1945) Military & Police with a 4" barrel. However, I think the second one is also, with a 5" barrel, but it was made before or during WW II and is likely one from a military contract. You didn't mention the caliber of either, but it would be stamped on the right side of the barrel - probably ".38 S & W Special" for the 4" and ".38 S & W CTG" for the 5". These are two different cartridges, with the first being much more readily available.
If you can give a partial serial number with any letters from the bottom of the grip frame (V 123xxx, C 345xxx) we can tell you when they were shipped from the factory. Hope this is helpful.

Bronco45, I know you are trying to be helpful but does that sentence make sense? If it was made before S&W started using model numbers why do you call it a Model 10?
They are both Military & Police Models. The 4" appears to my unexpert eye to be a post war version. Looks like the "Speed Hammer" seen on guns from the late 1940s and early 1950s (although usually on models with adjustable sights). Too bad someone cut off half of the cylinder release button to fit those huge (stag?) stocks.
I wonder if the 5" gun is a Victory Model in 38 S&W? Both appear to have stampings on the frame but unsure if they are police/military markings or import stampings. The correct caliber will be stamped on the right side of the barrel and the serials from the butts will help establish dates.

. The reason why I post these pictures just because I totally have no clue on the model of my dad's guns. He was the gun collector but he passed away many years ago so I didn't know who I should ask. For me, this forum is the perfect fit to ask because it is S&W forum and these guns are S&W. regards,

C59800 is a Military & Police (pre-model 10) .38 Special caliber with 4 inch barrel produced between 1948-1951. The serial numbers for those years are C1-C223998.
V439850 is a Military & Police .38 S&W caliber with a 5 inch barrel produced between 1942-1945. The serial numbers for those years are V1-V811119.

Really nice guns, the grips are very very nice. I really like the way they made the stag/horn ones. The other ones on the other K frame look like they might be ivory or bone. You have two special guns, fine examples of S&W's.

About inheritance law in Thailand, it is not the main factor for the gun. Gun law in Thailand has its own specific one. Each gun has the license and if the owner die, it is not dovolved on the heirs as normal estates. Heir has to do the transfer process all over again with the officer from administrative department as it is the new gun. The officer has discretion to consider whether or not the heir should possess the gun as his ownership. And, normally, the officer always consider it strickly especially if the gun is .357 .45 or more. For these guns, if people want to own them, they have to have the objective as for sport only, not for protection. Furthermore, if one person own more than 2 guns, normally the third gun is very hard to archieve because the officer will say that he or she has too much. And, last but not least, for auto (not semi-auto) or sub-machine gun, it is not allow to be owned.

I have examples of both these revolvers in my safe, and they both get a LOT of shooting. I enjoy them GREATLY.
