My Great Grandfather had a Model 1873 .38/40 Winchester Rifle
My Great Uncle had a Model 1892 .38/40 Winchester Rifle
My Grandfather had a Winchester Pump Action Winchester .38/40 Rifle.
What Model was Grandfather's Pump Action Winchester ?

I still have the Winchester Loading Tool that was used to re-load the .38/40 cartridges.

I kinda agree. Either a Remington or a Colt Lightning. Only Winchester pump rifles I've ever heard of were 22s.

I will stick my neck out and say that Winchester didn't make slide action in 38/40.
He most likely had a M14 Remington.

Very close. Not to be fractionally picky, but the Model 14 was not offered in .38-40 (.38 WCF). The Model 14-1/2 was, in both rifle and carbine versions. They were also offered in .44-40 (.44 WCF).

It had to be a Colt Lightning 38-40 Rifle as Grandfather died before the Remington was manufactured.
I guess those relatives liked the .38-40 cartridge.
Thank you all for the help.
Jimmy
