What other hobbies do you have?

Ringmaster of Great Jimaldo's Flea Circus. Dust Bunnie collector. UFO detection and identification. Part time under the bridge Troll work.

Bicycling, classical music, woodworking and home renovation, cooking and baking, voodoo, historical reenacting.

Travel (Hawaii in April), history-related travel (Gettysburg in April also), saltwater fishing in coastal NC in the form of kayak-fishing, inshore fishing and offshore fishing.
Boat maintenance and care, yardwork, deer hunting and scouting. Reading, and hanging out with a few other ol' retired lawdogs. We share a bond......

I recently started restoring a reed organ that graced somebody's parlor over a century ago. I'm not sure if this will become a hobby, but repairing cabinetry and rebuilding parts of a damaged bellows system will pay off in a handsome and playable instrument. If I like it, maybe I can turn this work into a minor retirement money maker.

Counted cross stitch in the winter. Fishing in the summer.

Current work in progress; out on our little boat.

That cross stitch is beautiful Barb! I've always wanted to try it, but my eyesight isn't what it used to be, and I'm not too sure what I'd end up with!

Thanks! My eyesight stinks too but I wear pretty strong reading glasses when I'm working on it, plus a good light source. I also use a copy stand to hold the instructions up, which has a sliding bar to keep my place. A good frame for your work helps too. And a highlighter to mark off what's been done on the instruction grid. Start with something small because it's confident-building to finish a project.

My hobby is metalworking with machine tools. My other hobby is recovering from the "dammits" incurred while doing the first.

Have lots of "used to" hobby's. "reddogge", that Tamerlane HC300 looks just like the one I shot from 69 to 80. Just sold it a couple of years ago. Fly fishing and tying fly's, shooting trap & skeet. Prairie dog shooting. Photography, and camera collecting. Antiquing. Mystery novels. Single Malt Scotch. Just to name a few.

British sport cars, H-D motorcycles, Civil War living history and just started reloading 6 months ago. Reloading ( hand gun ) allows me the ammunition to shoot every week.
