What powder are you searching for?

I used PB for years as a tournament trapshooter in my 12-guage target loads but when it became so scarce and pricy when you could find 8-pound jugs of it, I switched to Green Dot. It's dirtier, not as soft-shooting and doesn't smell as good as PB but it patterns about the same.

Looking for the following

VV N320
VV N340
VV N350
VV 3N37
VV N570
VV N32C

I'm always looking for RL-15; of course I drop almost 80 grains @ a time in the .375, luckily I don't shoot a lot of those. That and any Accurate product, haven't seen any AA stuff up here in quite awhile.

I have 16 pounds VVn320 on backorder with two different suppliers. One day the brown truck will pull up out front and surprise me.

Unique, VV N110 and 3N37, BE-86, Power Pistol, Longshot, 4756, 2400, HP38/231.

H110 and Accurate #9 are two powders I am presently look to procure for reloading (460 S&W).

In a pinch you can use 4227 and even 4198 (for heavy bullets) in the 460 S&W.
Both seem to be available.
I am using 4227 by default now in the 445, the 460's smaller brother.
You might lose 50 fps, even 100, but 4227 is way more forgiving and has a wider pressure range than the ball powders.
It ignites easier too.

Luckily, I got my 5lbs of Bullseye today from the brown bus guy. Hope it's okay to say where...sportsmans loft in Minot. Very nice guys.

Gunbot just posted AA#7 at Butches reloading.

I am trying to mentally remember all the powders people are looking for, and will post on the Daily In-Stock thread. Try to keep my post there to strictly powder notifications, so if you see I've posted something in that thread check it out. I'll try to pm you direct if there was some different you had posted above.

Powder supplies appear adequate

None, I just checked inventory and have about 55 # in various formulations. Accurate Arms is the easiest to find because it's only been around for 25 years. A lot of reloaders haven't heard of the brand name yet. :D

There appears to be an adequate supply of primers (@ $17 per brick) and 22 LR (about 4 cases). Newest inventory is 4 years old so the old adage "Shop early and often" is true.

I didn't weigh the stuff for exact weight, but estimate that there is 600# to 700# of range scrap bullets readying for melting and casting. Isn't retirement good? ;)

A local shop had both HP-38 and W231 in stock yesterday. Both were the same price, so I bought a pound of 231.

I'm still looking for Bullseye.

I also emptied a can of 2400 last night. I have another of 2400 that I haven't opened yet, but that's a powder I can go through quickly when I'm using it, so will be glad to see it in stock again.

I also emptied out my last pound can of Unique, so I guess it's time to crack open the 8lb jug(or at least will before I load anything else with Unique). I'd hoped that 1lb cans would come back in stock before I had to do that.

Need h110, aa #9, H110, or similar.

Would trade someone a pound of unique unopened for a pound of one of these.

Well I've been fortunate . In the past 2 months I've been able to find 2400 , HP-38 , Unique , Blue Dot , H4895 , H414 , H4350 , IMR 3031 , W296 ,VVN-105 & N-110 . Only 2 I'd definately grab now are WST & RL-22 . About half way thru my last 8lb jug of Bullseye & would probably grab that too . BTW none of this was local , all came mail order . Powder is out there , just how bad you want it . Aint talking GB prices either . Stock up on some more primers & I'll be set for the next time the shortage strikes .

So they are still making 2400 huh? I was starting to wonder. I have not seen any in almost a year.

Sir,

Do you recall which outlet was stocking N-110 at the time you found some?

Trying to see if anyone is still looking for powder other than the most popular handgun powders: W231, HP-38, Bullseye, Unique, 2400, and the Dots (Red, Blue, Green).

You are an evil, evil man! I never thought I'd ever say "I have enough powder" but thanks to you and the powder in stock thread I'm pretty darn close.

My biggest need........

After my new emphasis on 9mm, and re-introduction back into .38 For carry, I mostly lack medium/slower powders that can be loaded into the extra warm category. I've got loads of target powder on hand. I've been seeing some CFE Pistol around, as well as some Acc 7, Power Pro.

Unique or Universal would be really dandy. I've never seen any BE 85 but I would buy it.

Recob's Target Shop and Precision Reloading have both Universal and BE-86 in-stock. Cabelas has Unique and BE-86. Like Meatloaf says, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
