What stocks fit?

I would love this one... STOCKS - MOE® Rifle Stock

I really don't use the adjustable stock and just leave it extended. If I recall, a couple of people here believed it would not fit. Maybe I'll just have to call Magpul.

It won't fit. Per the web page you linked

Magpul said:
The Magpul MOE Rifle Stock is a drop-in replacement for AR15/M16 A1 and A2 rifle stocks utilizing the standard rifle-length receiver extension (buffer tube)

The receiver extension for a carbine with a collapsible stock is different than the rifle receiver extension, in both length and shape.

so the chinca knockoffs work well for the range?
how do the sights hold up and any play in the stock?

The Chinese knockoff are trash; you might as well throw the money down the toilet. They break easily, the screws strip out ...

The MagPul mil-spec stocks are a reasonably snug fit, considering manufacturing tolerances. The CTR has a locking lever that makes the fit very tight and immovable, as do a couple of other models.

The sights have held up just fine for me and continue to work fine. It's a range toy not something that is getting slammed around in Afghanistan. They hod a zero just fine and I am more than staisfied with "throwing my money down the toilet" in this case.

There was some wobble in the stock so I added a couple pieces of 100mph tape on the inside of the tube well and you would never know.

Again, I'm happy with the Chinese junk that I spent my money on and I'll continue to use it until it does break. In my opinion they have already paid for themselves.

Of course, your mileage may vary. I may have just gotten lucky.
