WHAT TO DO WITH THE $$$

I told my wife your story and about "Wild, Wild Women". Her suggestion was for some type of exercise equipment to prevent the need of a stair lift. Wild, Wild Women can fall into this category, but the upkeep is very expensive.

I like bicycling. Keep your eyes out for one of the three wheeled cycles. They can be adult tricycles or more like a self propelled lazy boy! They do get the blood moving, and actually are fun to run local errands on.

Preparing for the future is always wise. It takes discipline and I’m lacking when it comes to that, but I think you’re on the right track.

I never could afford any car I really wanted so I more or less set aside any interest in cars long ago. Indiana is not exactly a show-car friendly state, at least where I live, unless you are content to store it during the winter, and you keep your eyes on the speed limit when you’re driving. To me, driving a car at 60-70 MPH was always a bore. I never got into competition driving.

The only suggestion I can make is traveling, if that appeals to you. There are lot of destinations I might spend good money to visit - like warm ones, when our annual 4-months of torment sets in called winter. :D
