Here's a couple pics. I believe these are later stocks from the 1970s and probably not worth a lot of saving.

Incidentally, what is a good way to remove the white fill w/o harming the bluing? I don't care for it.

anything with acetone (i.e. brake cleaner) and a copper or bronze brush. make sure you take the stocks off, the acetone will eat the finish on them.

Are you sure that the white fill is not just dried polish? If it is you can remove it with a toothpick.
