What to do?

Here's a couple pics. I believe these are later stocks from the 1970s and probably not worth a lot of saving.

Incidentally, what is a good way to remove the white fill w/o harming the bluing? I don't care for it.

anything with acetone (i.e. brake cleaner) and a copper or bronze brush. make sure you take the stocks off, the acetone will eat the finish on them.
