What was your first?.

Mine was a cheap .38 special. Double action, blue steel, 4"bbl. It was imported from Brazil or some where. I don't really remember. Thinking back on it it was not a bad gun. Fairly accurate and always ran good for me with and OK trigger. Paid 37.95 for it NIB and sold it many many years later for 125 bux.

High Standard .22 caliber Semi-auto Model M101. Bought it from a friend in about 1967. Paid all of $25 for it. Still have it and it shoots as good as ever. Looking back, I don't know where I came up with the money, hadn't been out of the Navy long, and money was tight! (I never get rid of a gun, just ask my wife)

My first was left to me by Grandfather when I was 8. Didn't get to
shoot it much until I was a teenager. Gun was a 32/20 HE. The
first handgun that I remember shooting was my old mans Iver
Johnson, Sealed-8. 22 rf.

My first handgun was a H&K USP 45 compact. Wanted something light to carry, and when I picked one of these up it fit "just right ".

1983 Beretta 92F - Sold it to my brother a few years ago and still get to shoot it often.

the first handgun I ever bought was a 6in M27-2 BNIB presentation case and all, that was about 1980 or so, I still have it

22lr/22mag. It was a Ruger Single Six, blue with a 6 1/2" barrel that I bought in 1968. Stolen a year later. The last time I saw it, it was in the hands of a Virginia State Trooper who was asking me how my pistol wound up at a crime scene. Fortunately I had reported it stolen so I was ok.

My first was 10mm S&W 1006 Bought on GB NIB in 2012. Started late in the gun game but trying to make up for lost time. First hand gun in November 2012 now at 36 counting long guns. Trying to average one a month as finances and opportunity allows. Most are Smiths, only bought 2 new, Bond. Arms 45 colt/410 Derringer and a M&P 40 .

My first handgun was a 6" 7 shot Taurus 357 Mag.

I traded it a few years later for my 4" 686 no dash.
