Not the longest story in the world but, in summary, it says that the military-industrial complex (my term ;)) is gearing up ammunition production in a major way, so I expect there will be some negative impact on the commercial market.

SIDEBAR - This new software did that little summary for me. All I posted was the long URL and copyright line, and the software turned it into that nice-looking dialog/"box". I like it!

Not sure how much overlap there is between civilian components and artillery components. If they go all out on 7.62, 5.56, and 9mm, could be different.

I think we are coming down from the impacts of the small-arms ramp ups. Primers are coming down (I've seen Winchester Small Pistol for less than $50) and the conflicts in Ukraine and Israel have been going on long enough for the production lines to catch up.

Not too concerned, this is more of a war with bombs then guns. It is going to be fought at 30K in the air not on the ground. Iran will threaten to block the Straights of Hormuz and maybe some others but Trump has already moved in 2 carrier groups into the area. Anything Iran does now if futile. What you need to be concerned about now are the sleeper cells already here under the last administration.

Remember: see something, say something.

Just sayin

Since we haven't surplus production since the 1970s or had adequate production in the last 20 anyears ANY change causes a lack of supply in the consumer chain. You can bet you boots that it affect shooters/reloaders negatively.
