TAX REFUND: IRS finally repaying the Interest Free Loan they required you to give them during the last year.

Been self employed for over 29 years. Don't recall ever getting a refund. I'm sure with the proper bookkeeping I could. I just have a problem with loaning my government money, interest free all year.
But that's just me.

Figuring of income tax for self employed:
State your gross income
Subtract your allowed business expenses
Send check for the difference, you don't need it.
Government needs the $$ to support all the people who
won't work, keep having kids, need to support their drug
habits, and so on ad nauseam

Half of mine is going to pay down my loan for my riding mower. my goal is to have it paid off before the end of the year.The rest I'm not sure yet.

I do not believe in income tax refunds.........I would NEVER give the government an interest free loan......

At the tax man as I type this. Have to wait and see what the outcome will be.
I always try to break even though.
