Perhaps a little mindblower, or quiz, or just something to start your Sunday.

There is no prize, save perhaps self-brilliance on display.

Of course, then there's the other side of that coin, too.

So, I was Messin' 'Round ('tis the song John Candy was a-rockin' to when he was driving that airport rental car he was able to rent that Steve Martin wasn't able to rent in the movie, "Trains, Planes and Automobiles," when Candy's character nearly wrecked the car) when I noticed that a certain Third Generation pistol seemed as svelte as a new Shield 2.0.

So, I grabbed a Shield, got that "other" Smith & Wesson, stuck the latter under the former, squared 'em a took a pic. Indeed, this pic:

Lo , behold and all that. Take a long look, for the one atop did not quite cover the one below.

Put another way: A third Generation pistol was all but as svelte as a new Shield.

So, "What's Below?"

I'm inclined to catch a few Zs just now inasmuch as I've pulled nearly 24 hours, but I'll return later to provide photographic evidence of that thing down below.

Have fun in the meantime.

Later.

With just a tiny view of the mag base underneath. It could be either a 3913 or a 6900 series.

From the little I can see, it has a round trigger guard, aluminum receiver, stainless slide, 3.5 inch barrel, wrap around plastic stock, and the beavertail says to me... late production S&W 6906.

So, yer sayin I won't like the grip angle on the Shield...?

Good to know!

And The Answer Is . . .

Congrats to:

Based On TIME STAMP

1. 18DAI

2. guzzitaco (there are monikers and strangely unique monikers, huh?)

3. GaryS (who, while providing two choices, stayed exactly within basic model)

BASED on HALF-A (. . . Um, Well, You'll Get The Point):

1. Heymatt gets 1/2 credit for getting it, um, half right.

Based on BEST ANALYSIS

standds (then again, one has come to expect such from standds)

I'm proud of youse guys!

And here's the evidence:

And, that whole 3913 and 3953 is worth looking at. I got them, too . . . next time on "What's Below?"

Later.
