What's it worth?

My best friend owns this one. It's a K-22 made in 1948 an except for a faint turn line the gun is essentially mint condition. I doubt it's ever seen the inside of a holster. The box is probably 80%, it has the original cleaning rod and brush along with the original SAT, which looks like it was made this morning. It would really be hard to improve on the condition of this 71 year old revolver. So what do you learned gentlemen say it's worth? Many thanks.

Tom,

Sounds like a beauty!

At least $1K around here. Maybe more if it has a barrel extractor knob, if it's a "one liner", or both.

I'd say Hondo44 is pretty close on the pricing, It might bring a bit less here in the Midwest were I live.

I was expecting quite a bit more considering it's age, condition and extra's. It does have a straight ejector rod an I believe it's a 1 liner. Shoot, a new K-22 at my LGS is pushing 900 these days. Thanks guys for the help, I appreciate it.
