For awhile it was a 686 SSR which was swapped out on a temporary basis for a Model 13-3 (4") and tonight another switch (long term) will be made for a 686+ (3").

I recently had three 686's come back from my Pistolsmith that have since been put through their paces, cleaned up and are ready for action.

This is just the primary, I won't list all of our bedroom "back-ups", which I guess could be called "bedBUGs."

Glock 19 with Hornady Tap, Vizi nite sights along with Surefire E2D Defender.

I've got two on the night stand next to the bed. 1st is my 642 that seems to be the gun I carry the most and next is my 2nd generation colt detective special. Both are in a touch to open lock box.

Besides my pillow is my 4506-1 loaded and safety on,next to that my new Glock 33 in a blackhawk holster (do NOT think of even trying to stick a loaded Glock anywhere without a holster to cover that trigger!)

Next to the bed, again loaded,is my C93 HK 93 clone soon to be joined by a milled AK which needed to be sent back for repairs, and my old P1 is around the room somewheres with a mag full of 9MM.....

Probably the last thing anyone would do is come through my bedroom door unannounced!

Remington 870, 20" cylinder bore, 5 rounds 2-3/4" magnums with 1-1/4 oz. BB shot.

Kimber Custom CDP .45, night sights, 9 rounds of 230-grain match hardball, two extra magazines.

Alarm system remote control. Flashlight. Cell phone.

Used to keep a box of condoms, but the "best if used by" date expired, so out they went, just to be on the safe side.

A single shot .410 with a flashlight attached to the barrel and a box of shells. I was keeping my only handgun there for a while but decided that if someone broke in while I was not home, I'd rather have the .410 stole than the 610-3 with JP sight, nearly got a grand invested in it. The shotgun cost me $65. Plan to get a short 12 ga pump one of these days.

Model 66 2 1/2 inch and Surefire. NAA Guardian in lower drawer as a sort of backup.
Rem Marine Magnum under bed. Model 37 in next room.

My wife is only comfortable with revolvers and all I'll keep as a primary house gun. I prefer revolvers and only S&W besides for CCW and home defense.
