Jet ammo is of very limited demand. It peaks and falls in value, with a run of it a year or so retailing for about $50. All Jet fans reload (or they do if they have any sense and want to shoot.)
About 15 or 20 years ago I picked up a nice two cylinder Jet with only 5 inserts. A friend thought I was insane for paying $700 for a K22. He didn't move off his conclusion even when he saw me getting 10 full green boxes of Remington ammo in the deal. Now I don't look so stupid.
Over the years, I've bought partial boxes when they were cheap, and usually with the fired cases in the styrofoam. I've built up my ammo hoard to the point where I'm comfortable and only buy when I see it crazy cheap. Your purchase for $25 fits that description. It was a good buy, but keep in mind there will always be the temptation to pick up a gun to fit the ammo. We would define it as the beginning of the end for your family finances.
