I was thinking I might want to buy another CZ after falling in love with my CZ 75BD. I bought a nice used one about a year and a half ago with 6 mags for $350. Now I can't even find one like it for anywhere near that price. Did the secret get out that these are one of the best guns for the money or what ? Anyone have any idea ? Anyone got one they want to part with ??? Shoo

Just a WAG on my part, but I'm guessing it is the value of the dollar or lack there of.

Maybe you guys are right. My CZ 75 has never had any failures of any kind. Not that I shoot tons of rounds, but it's nice to know it will go bang when I pull the trigger. Very, very accurate also. Just bought Hakem Pek grips from skeezix that I'm looking very forward to getting. I'm also anxious to see if my recently acquired no-dash S&W 39 can hang with the CZ. Thanks, Shoo

Academy Sports used to have about the cheapest prices on CZ-75s but they got more expensive and now they only carry the Sarlismaz? 9m/m copy, whatever that is. The rifles and shotguns are a lot higher too but I can't tell you the reason only that they are still a good value even at the higher price.

IMO there are a couple of factors the demand has gone up since the election driving prices up, plus the fact that value of the dollar is nose diving.

I don't know about their pistols...

But they got the big head on their .22 rifles! They shoot, but they certainly aren't a bargain at current prices.

The 452 "trainer" that they used to sell for $179.99 just three years ago has gone up significantly- they are now $300+ at retail with the "el cheapo" junk stock!

I know...I got two them for gifts then, went looking this past fall, and got a used Remington instead. They've gone crazy- it isn't just the dollar!

I got a satin nickel CZ75B 9mm.I know that if I wanted to buy another, probably over $500 now, like everything else worth havin.Recently accquired a Kimber compact stainless 45 tryin to bump my big bore shootin up a notch.I have'nt shot it much yet but the CZ still rules, definately my favorite automatic out of the 3 I own now.Happy shootin fellas! Jim

Cz quality is high, dollar is down, social unrest, bad economy, all things gun related are scarce - go figure.

Supply and demand.
