Yep, I like that M1882, myself... I believe that was the same revolver I asked about in a photo you showed some time back, Swissman. Not that exact one, but still an M1882. As for Jack calling it "like something built using spare parts from plumber's supply", I have to disagree. But, it does have a "unique" look that I like very much. And it certainly seems to shoot good!
Me? I have my 1909-made Savage 1907 Pocket Pistol, in .32 ACP... don't know if you'd call the round obscure, but the gun certainly is! I also used to have an M&P in .38 S&W... still have most of that box of ammo, though the gun is now gone. Gotta get hold of a Mark IV Webley to go with my ammo, now, someday. My fave gunshop also has a Remington Rolling Block rifle in 7x57mm on the rack. Very nice, wish I had the dough for it. Always wanted a rifle in that caliber, and that Roller would be perfect. Also, dogngun (I believe it was him?) sent me a round of .35 S&W I still have, sitting on the printer shelf above my monitor. I also used to own a Lee-Enfield SMLE and Jungle Carbine in .303, a Remington M81 in .300 Savage, and an SKS in 7.62x39... oh, and a C96 Bolo in 7.62x25, way back.
I think that's the sum total of the oddballs I've owned....
