To the sub-plot for a moment:
Can't argue with that, but; 2 years from the incident, and your sitting in civil court because it was dark and you put a couple rounds through the perps spine or hips and didn't kill them...., and now the plaintiff has been permanently crippled for life cause you are "some gun crazy nut who loads his own ammo..." And all the plaintiff was trying to do was steal some food to feed his family....Or wrongful death suits....
Being justified or not will only keep you out of jail
Whether the person dies or not is not the issue. It is whether they stop their action right now. At least that is the reason I have a defensive handgun.
