I'm one of those guys that likes to switch around a lot, but I do have combinations that I wear on a more regular basis.
When it is warmer I like a 65 - 3", cross-draw, or I carry one with Barami hip-grips. I always have a J frame in my pocket.
Winter I carry a 629 - 3" in A Kramer vertical scabbard, weak side. I sit a lot, and it is easy to get to that way. Again, I always have a J frame in my pocket. I also like to carry a 3" Kimber cross-draw, or a 4" in a shoulder holster.
I carried a Colt Cobra, or a PPKS most of the time for years, then went to .45s, now I am back to revolvers most of the time. I really feel more proficient with a .45, so I continue to carry one on occassion.
What influenced me most in my carry selection was what I was wearing, and how concealed it needed to be when I was still working. Now that I am no longer working, and in Indiana your gun does not need to be concealed I carry whatever I feel like that day. If it prints, or shows it is no problem.
Best Wishes,
Tom
