What’s Your Favorite Candy?

The M&M poll got me thinking about what you favorite candy might be?
Right now mine is this,,,

I love coconut and I can’t get enough of these! If not these it’s a Mounds bar. My next favorite is the Heath bar.
Usually though I’ll buy the bags of minis, eat one or two mini favorites while I’m watching tv.
Mounds, Kit Kat’s, 5th Avenue,Reese’s , Mallow Cups, Zero bars
Zag Nuts.... That’s some of my variety.

My dad's absolute favorite was stale Circus Peanuts. There was always a bowl of them in the fridge and they were off limits to us.

OK, Snickers (Almond)

I can't eat peanuts. And it's one of the best things if you are having a diabetic fit. (Skittles work fast too)

But I like soft mints, Almond Joys, Orange slices and really a whole lotta stuff.

Between changing taste and changing recipes (too much corn syrup) it's hard to separate what I used to like from what I like now.

Oh,for special occasions my wife gets me a chocolate orange.

That's a tough choice but I'd say Snickers.

Oh, that's really tough. I don't know if I could narrow it down to just one.

If I had to pick just one, I'd probably go with Whatchamacallits. It's usually the first thing I look for at vending machines and those candy shelves by the check out.

After that, it'd probably be a three-way tie between Reese's peanut butter cups (especially the ones with Reese's Pieces in them), Ghirardelli Sea Salt Soiree (dark chocolate, sea salt, and almonds...I normally don't like dark chocolate, but I like these), and Lindt white chocolate Lindor bars (with cream filling).

Yeah, I like chocolate.

Not generally a big fan of hard candies, but I do like Werther's caramel hard candies and Life Savers.

Having to cut back on sugar sucks.

There's a couple that I'm hopelessly addicted to. Whenever we get some my wife hasta hide them and ration them out.
They're both Japanese.
The first is a rice cracker with a seaweed wrap.


This one's a rice candy that's meant for children and has a colorful sticker in every box.

My grandfather liked horehound candy. He always had some in his pocket for his grandchildren. I thought it was terrible. Now, I like it because it reminds me of my grandfather Ernest.

Almond Joy because sometimes you feel like a nut.

Dark chocolate-covered jells, soft black licorice and dark chocolate covered marshmallows.

I prefer the premium-priced sweet shop varieties over the supermarket brands. Yes, it costs more but its worth it as I don't make a habit of indulging sweets.

My favorite would be Ghirardelli dark chocolate mint squares. They're like a gourmet Junior Mint. After that would be Junior Mints.
