Whats your favorite firearm you own?

It would be one of these two, the S&W K38 and Kimber K22.

I have too many "favorites".

Me too, pretty much all of them. I'd have to break it down this way,
Shotgun. Remington 1100 12ga. My first firearm.
Rifle. Ruger 10/22. I have others, bigger calibers, none more versatile.
Auto-pistol, Colt 1911 Series 70 Mk.IV
Revolver, S&W Model 19 Combat Magnum.
That's today, always subject to change.

MY M&P 22 rifle with the slide fire and can attached.

Thom

I don't own many guns (yet), but my favorite is by far my Smith & Wesson Model 58 (41 magnum).

Was lucky and found it sitting in a LGS. Shoot great, carries well, and looks awesome.

Rem 700 stainless 338 win mag shilen barrel. Lightened by Wild West guns. 6 pounds with 3.5 x10 Leo . Muzzle brake. It's like carrying around a 22. No recoil . Shoots Barnes,noslers.aframes. All in the same place.. I use it for every thing except grouse. And ducks. MJ

I've changed my mind since 2009. Now I think I'd choose my 1894c Marlin. About as close to an all purpose gun as I own.

For me there are two:

1. My wife just gave me a custom made late Lancaster County flintlock rifle with brown maple stain, brass furniture, browned swamped .45 caliber barrel and double-set triggers. It took eight months from order to delivery.

2. Deb received a nice bonus from IBM several years ago. I work for myself and never get bonuses so she gave me one from hers. It is a .44-40 caliber Uberti Henry rifle.

I like anything I'm shooting that day, but if I have to choose a favorite it would be my M1 Carbine (Winchester). It's just a lot of fun to shoot.

This thread started in 2009. Who digs this stuff up?

Mine (right now) is a Winchester 1895 .405 take down rifle. New, not old sadly.

Smith..... revolver would be my 3" model 66s
auto would be my 3913s and 14s

Most fun the last year or so.......... My CZ 452 FSs (Mannlichers) in .22lr,.22mag and 527 FS in .223. Great accurate "old school" guns at reasonable prices.

I bought this Dan Wesson used from a local fellow who shoots at the same range my wife and I frequent.

He considered it "the runt of the litter" in his real collection, most of which are high end 1911's from Les Baer Custom, Ed Brown, Wilson Combat, and others.

But, it is my pride and joy. :)

From many. My Winchester Model 94 SRC Carbine in 25-35
DOB 1904, in 98% factory original condition, passed to me by
my father.

Handgun, this 1972 Model 66 was owned by a Memphis Policeman that was killed in 1973. It will always have a place of honor in my safe.

But at this moment it's my new Swedish CG63. It was built in 1965 at the Carl Gustafs arsenal using an Oberndorf 1895 M94 Mauser carbine receiver. So far it's receiver has the earliest serial number of one of these rebuilds known. The target is from it's first visit to the range @ 100 yds. I'm in love.
