Model 66 snub and Rem Marine Magnum in the bedroom. Other guns placed elsewhere in the house. Yes my wife thinks I'm paranoid but that's because they've not been needed yet.

No time to open the safe and break out the SAW (or AT-4), no time to find the one (maybe) buried in the couch, no time for anything but the one you keep out just in case.
For me, it's a Glock 22 with night sights and a SureFire light.
Not fancy, not really my best choice for those unannounced guest, but it'll work till I can fight my way to a rifle.
Its never a good sign for a intruder when the biggest concern of the home owner is which gun hes going to use first lol!M&P45 and/or a 870 Wingmaster. It's good to have choices.
