Milford, PA is the "Birthplace of American Forest Conservation", started by Gifford Pinchot in the late 1800s.

Apparently, our sand made a superior brick. Our most famous summer resident was Thomas Watson. Also known for one of the cleanest lakes in the world.
 
Paw Paw, Mi. is the wine capitol of...
... Van Buren County.
Every year in September, we host a Wine and harvest festival that brings in people from other states and even country's to participate. Paw Paw is also the home of St. Julian winery.
 
Every March we have the 12 Hours of Sebring, a 12 hour endurance Le Mons type race. It draws 150,000 from all over the world. Audi usually wins, but they didn't race here this year. Chrysler named the Chrysler Sebring car after this race.
 
The home of Natural Stone Bridges and Caves. The nearby town of Chester that I lived in before was the home of the National Christmas Tree from 1964.
 
Florence is the birthplace of W.C. Handy, the father of the blues. Muscle Shoals, just across the river, was once known as the "hit recording capital of the world." Lynerd Skynrd recorded their first studio album just five minutes from my location right now in the early 70's.
