My "wow" guns:
The first gun I bought on GB, a Dan Wesson 715, in 2006. In the box, with the tool (broken), 3 grips, and a bag of parts, $269. I was so happy when I saw it. There was a pic of my gun that came up on a google search since I bought it, but as of a couple of weeks ago, it disappeared and I never saved it. This is pretty much identical to mine except my factory grip is checkered, and my gun has custom sights that are much more robust than the originals:
I bought this gun as a goof, just for the name on it, and because I liked CZ's and clones. The slide fit is the best I've ever seen, it's perfect, and the SA trigger is just about perfect too. The only thing I've done to it is clean it up and put a new recoil spring on it. I've put over 2500 rounds through it, and it looks like new inside. It's my favorite shooting gun period. For $350, I'm very happy. I bought the compact soon afterwards:
The compact isn't as nice, inside or out, but it's a great shooter:
