Whch pens do you carry?

I worked in an office supply store in the mid to late 80s. I used a Cross for a while but the model I used was too skinny and uncomfortable. I switched a Waterman and loved it. I gave my father a set of Watermans for Christmas in 1989. I later found out my grandfather that died in 1959 had used Waterman pens. He died before I was born so it was kind of special to me that I had chosen his favorite pen. My dad died in 1991 and I inherited his set of Waterman pens that I gave him. I still carry the ballpoint in my shirt pocket every single day.

Until my then 3 year old son (he is now 37) used my Shaeffer schnorkel as an arrow, I had used that pen from my undergrad days in the UK in the late 1950s. Now days, what ever is free from a bank or credit union though there are still Mont Blanc and Waterman fountain pens squirreled away. Dave_n

All of this talk about pens reminds me of the doctor that rushed into the bank to cash a check. As he went to endorse the check, he noticed he had a rectal thermometer in his hand. He looked up to the bank teller and replied " You know what ? I believe some ---hole has my pen ! "
