When I got into shooting big time about three years ago, I got an XD40. Then traded that for a Beretta 90-two, picked up a J-frame for carry, then when the wife didn't like that, traded that for a PPS in 9mm. In between, picked up a P22 for the wife, and a 3913NL for me. Now, I realize that I caught some kind of bug there, cause I fretted until I got another revolver, a new 686 4". It was love at first fondle.
Cut to the chase, everyone that has handled, and especially shot that 686 had the same reaction to it that I did, and also the wife, can't pry it from her hands.
All these die hard semi-auto fans only need to feel the wonder of a nice revolver, and they fall into the same abyss of wonderment as the rest of us. It's up to us to convert them!

I've got a Couple of Autos around, S&W M3913NL & Beretta 92FS & 7 Revolvers S&W 342Ti, 547, 642, CS-1 686, 2 X 940 & a Dan Wesson 15-2..
Even though the Smith Auto is small & lite You'll find me carrying the AirLite or AirWeight most of the time..
And your right about how nice the L Frames are, I realy love my 3" 686, It's just one of those guns that Says "OH YEAH"..
Not Many Guns will do that!!
Love the Looks of your Stag Grips!! Are those Patrick Grasshorn aka Executioner Stags??
VERY NICE!!

I cut all the autos out of my collextion. The only auto in my possession is my Glock 22 and it is my duty weapon issued to me by my agency.
I just picked up a 686-4 2.5" 7 shot...OMG that thing is one of the most comfortable guns to shoot...By the way I love your stags on your 686 they are so beautiful

I own five Smith's and only one auto. I really like that 1911 (still no plastic gun,) but there is only one thing wrong with it, it is not a revolver.

I've got 1 piece of tupperware, an M&P45 and that's it. It rarely get's shot as I much prefer my revolvers. Everyone today thinks an auto is what's needed, are they wrong! Nice pics guys!

I love my revolvers but mostly carry tupperware. Either a Glock 19 or PF 9, both are reliable and I don't care if they get scratched.

Pistols (wheel and otherwise) have always been a sideshow for me. I played the XD game for about 3 years, but it never did it for me. About 2 months ago I traded it for an SW1911PD, which has become my constant companion.

I have a 29-2 in the works from a fellow member, but I hadn't shot a revolver in almost 5 years until last weekend. There's just something about shooting full house 357's at dusk....

NO WAY, Tupperwear is better, That is all anyone should buy, They are lighter and better 'cause they can hold 15 rounds, WHat more do you want?????
Just leave the old Smith and Wesson revolvers at the gun shops for me to buy cheap!!!!!!
HAHA
Peter.

My first love is, and will always be, a 1911, but I put all good quality revolvers ahead of any other autos.
