When did you quit deal finding and simply buy?

Thanks for all the input. Found a new in box 811030 for $299.99 delivered today. Came across it by chance, was on about the 5th search page, and the woman told me about their free shipping code. Last one in stock (although told they had several). The product page shows out of stock after I received the shipping info.

I didn't shop around for my 15-22, my LGS is fairly new and I bought it there anyway. The owner is really nice and she gives me a heads up when she gets some 22 ammo in. :)

roog

You get a head for ammo?????

I'm definitely moving across the pond :D

I've been shopping for the best deal for quite awhile. Pulled the trigger today. A fellow member here said Tropguns had them for sale for $329.99 plus $25.00 shipping with no tax. $20.00 FFL fee and total is $374.99. Glad I finally bought one as the search is over.....for now.

When you compare time & effort looking for a bargain + how long can you go without it vs how much money can you save, and decide the latter holds less value for you.

Agree with:"When I found exactly what I wanted." !!!

Here in Puerto Rico is almost all the time, you buy what you found if it is what do you really want, great but availability is always an issue !

Cripes, here in MA the average price at a local FFL is $525.00 - $539.00 (often with a brick of .22's) for the colored versions. Several of the high volume shops in metro Boston will have the black versions at $399.00, Camo at $430.00 and the colored 15-22's in the high 400.00.

Its only in the past 2 months most shops actually got a supply to sell. My wife bought hers in late October (Purple at $525.00) after waiting for about 4 months for our local FFL to get a few in stock.
