So a couple weeks ago I tried my first evening IDPA match. Started at 6 and the last stage wound up being full dark.
I knew it was wimpy but I took a little giveaway LED that I considered bright because I use it to inspect bores.
It was completely useless. Wouldn't even reach most of the targets. I wound up tossing it down during my reload and just finished the stage guessing (and lining up by what I could remember from the muzzle flash).
Well, I decided to solve the problem in a big (and pricey) way: First Light USA
