Colt Python gave you problems? That's not surprising. Colt makes great (and purty) guns but Pythons are a little finicky. I'll take my S&W model 686 any day. It AIN'T finicky.
I've aways loved Western NC and my SIL and her daughter are about to move there.

Greetings from SW Utah, I think you will like it here. Your story reminds me of drooling over a new Ruger .22, in the showcase about 1949 or 50 when I was 12.
