when was this S&W made

I would like to know what year my S&W model 65-6 stainless was made. 4" bar. ser # CDS**** i have had this Smith for about 7 years and it was used when i got it. I would rate it 95% plus kind like to know value as well.

From what I have seen lately, I would guess around $325 to $375 depending on box, etc.
...but as always,YMMV...
