Where are all the guns

Yep, buds has a 629 in stock for sale, I also see they do not have a 21 classic, which I would also like to add to my collections of 44 specials.

I am not aware of a no-lock S&W for sale in the the Augusta, GA area for 6 years that was in reasonable condition. Store personnel get first chance to buy I believe. When I was actively buy S&W or what struck my fancy, 16 guns in 14 months came home with me from GB auctions or good deals that I was offered in private sales.

I shopped carefully, knew the market price, and sometimes paid the price now to get the firearm "early" based on price. I am satisfied with my purchases. My concluding observation is that none of my firearms lost value like my modest stock portfolio did. In the the last month stocks have rebounded. My stocks have made a buck, my guns didn't lose value, and I'm enjoying life.

If you see what you want, the price is affordable, and money isn't tight in your budget, buy the item -- but not on a credit card. If you can't pay 'cash', you can't afford the item.

Normalcy is 2 years away. :(

I've been hand loading for 34 years. I have a five year supply of everything just out of habit. Bullet casting is a big help. No way could I buy as many jacketed bullets that I like to shoot. I always buy caddies of powder and primers 5000 at a time. So it feels could to get through this.

Spring is 20 mi from Houston. There is a "High caliber" gunshow in Pasadena next weekend. Take as many Benjamins as you can spare and go over to the show. I guarantee something in your budget will appear. Showing the money when negotiating (Keep a tight grip on it) usually produces good results. This is $625 worth of .44 from 3/16. It ain't a pre-29 with clamshell case and accessories, but it ain't $3K either. Joe
