^^^Hey Duster42....is that Downer's Grove Cruise Night? I have been trying to find some information on the upcoming schedule of events. Do you know where the schedule can be found? My searches have been coming up empty. Thanks

Outside the speed shop last month...finally got the new exhaust system ceramic coated. I also brought the engine bay back to the way it would have looked in '66. It was a bit too "shiny" before. I took the chrome covers off, but those could have been used in '66. I prefer the muted aluminum-finned ones instead...I replaced the air cleaner (the small one is for a hood scoop or dual-quad car)...I replaced the red wires and cap with black. I am going to change the red coil to a black coil...should be about it.

I have a 67 Dodge Dart GT that I drove in high school. It's currently under construction. Can you guess from my screen name what other car?

When I was growing up, I'd see my brother's cars, rock and roll (fuzzy dice from the rear view mirror) was hip. I'd sneak a peek at Playboy Magazine, and in the back of my mind I would think: "I'll never even get close to something that good". I'd feel bad. Boo hoo.

I look at these machines, same old (feelings) Self Fulfilling Prophecy! Well with the current economy...

Here's mine...

1972 Chevrolet K20 4x4

Pretty much bone stock -

350 4 bolt main (newer target master from GM)
400 Tranny
Factory AC
Factory optional wood bed floor (all still there)
Dealer installed saddle tanks (inside bed rails)
Original 1972 Texas Farm Truck license plates
Factory steelies in 16.0 x 7.0 (with original wheel covers)
All original four wheel drive equipment is in place and operational.

This one in is pretty much my daily driver other than the company rigs....I had another 1968 K20 that I was going to restore, but I have no free time any more....I bought this truck because it was rust free and complete. It has taken about 4 years to completely restore it from front to rear. I did upgrade that AC pump to a Sanden style to improve the cooling efficiency in the Texas heat.

You guys have some really nice rides as well. There are some shown here that make me want to go and buy another project :D

Found some pictures from my wild and crazy days. Belonged to a custom van club in the mid-70's (got up to over 300 members). We made our own traffic jam whenever we went somewhere. Put on a couple of van/truck shows in the Pontiac Silverdome. Had Fonzie (Henry Winkler) and Linda Carter (Wonder Woman) as guests.

'02 Firebird Formula
CAI, Airlid, smooth bellows, ported TB, LS6 intake manifold, Pacesetter longtube headers feeding a 3" Y and continues 3" all the way back. Dyno'd at 297 to the rear on a Mustang Dyno (330-ish for those of you who roll with Dynojet numbers) with only 70% open throttle (faulty cruise control unit cable prevented 100% open). Part is waiting for me at my tune shop, but between dealing with Hurricane Sandy with my work and a recent on-the-job injury, I haven't had time to have it installed and re-dyno'd.

She was my Firebaby until I started modding her. Now's she's my Firebitch.

Had a 2'x4' mirror on the ceiling over the bed and black light. Two inch foam padding under the shag carpet. Karma Sutra plaque on the wall under the lamp.

Dang, that's just porno.

What I would like to have is the Mystery Machine with the red interior you could see in the first movie :D
