Here I am!
Car guy, for certain!
No pix for a while as away from the computer and current rides.
Like lakesiderNY, awaiting new C7 Corvette.
Now drive a C6 and a Range Rover. Have always loved cars and now able to indulge some desires. Current C6 on the market.
And will soon post an astounding (I think!) story about repairs to my Range Rover following a deer attack Christmas Eve eve.

The 8-series are the most attractive looking one to me from all the BMWs out there. Right after the M1.

I still have my '76 Mazda Cosmo with about 20,000 actual miles. Bet you've never heard of that one.
After I take the Lovely Missus P&R Fan out to dinner I'm going over to a clients house to help her with her classic cars. She has a '67 Mustang convertible, 289 with a 4 speed that her late husband won in a poker game.
I'd really like to know what his hand was, and that of the guy who lost it.
She also has a PERFECT '87 Buick Grand National. Next time we drive it it will turn over 3,000 actual miles.
That sucker is COOL.
Neither one of those is for sale,in case you was wonderin'.
Then there's the one she just had worked on. It's a '79 Mercedes 450 SL. Both hard and soft tops with a nearly perfect black body and red interior. Less than 80,000 actual miles. She just had $6,000 worth of work done on it and they replaced the entire fuel system. It runs REALLY well now. In case you're interested, it's for sale. PM me if you'd like details, and no, I ain't gonna make a penny on the deal.
Well, I'll prolly make her take me out to eat for crawfish etouffe. That's our favorite.

I think all these cars are really cool, but my cars are just for driving. Since I'm too decrepit for a small sports car I've had the urge lately for a late 60's, early 70's muscle car.

no power steering or brakes
no radio, no clock, no A/C
As you can guess this was not a high performance car with a lot of options.

1970 Mustang Mach 1, originally an R-code 428CJ, AT, AC, PS, PB. I bought it with a 390 and promptly installed a bored and stroked 427 sideoiler (454 cid). It has a solid lifter Crower cam (.609/.626 lift, 284/290 advertised duration, 246/250 at .050 lift), Offenhauser port-o-sonic, 850 Barry Grant, LeMans rods, 12.5:1 TRW stroker pistons, C-6 with full-manual reverse pattern valve body, 10-inch converter, and a nodular iron 4.11 9-inch rear end. 45,000 original miles.

OK, I gotta ask a question here.....ummmm some of those cars are not cheap....what the heck do you do for a living? You either make a lot of money or are in debt up to your eye balls. LOL

Nice collection guys. Stock market hit me hard lately and I am retiring soon, so unfortunately my toys had to go to boost retirement fund. Sadly sold 29 Model A Ford Roadster, 61 T-bird and a 76 MGB roadster.
