Where can I get a crane /yoke screw?

Hi Guys,
where can I get a replacement screw for a 686 no dash 4". It's the screw on the right side that allows you to remove the crane and cylinder.- Thanks Tim

The yoke screw is the one that always have. eBay midway brownells etc

Try S&W customer service. They sent me one free of charge for one of my 629s.

Remember that you will probably need to fit it in length. The other sideplate screw of the same head configuration will do the same job; needs the same fitting for a S&W of your dash config.

Same here except that mine was for a 66-3. Didn't even charge for mailing it.

Same here for a 629-1. S&W customer service has been great for me for the small stuff. Tell them the model and serial number and they will get right on it.

My Smith&Wesson Parts List Manual dated 2/88 describes that part
as "part number 070170000 Plate Screw, Crowned'' for Model No.686

Looking closer in this parts book l noticed that same number was common to all K -L- N frame side plates
