Amen to that, my shooting spot is 5 minutes from home by quad.
Plus I can stop at the local bar on the way home without ever touching pavement!

Ya, I live on the outskirts of Tucson so I have a 10 min. drive to hunt or shoot.
And that place looks very familiar and possibly Mt. Lemon in the back ground.

I've got a lot of ranges to choose from here in the San Francisco Bay area. My favorite is Livermore - Pleasanton Rod & Gun Club. They offer a Trap range and Pistol/Rifle range out to 100 yards.

Another spot that my friends and I travel to often is Tumey/Panoche Hills which is BLM land and its a good 2 hrs away. We try to get down there at least once a month. Nice thing about BLM land is your out in the middle of nowhere and no Range Officers to worry about.
