Well I spent the last 3 weeks, and a long five day 4th of July weekend, at "the lake" in the Laurel Highlands not far from the Flight 93 crash site. Got back to "the Burgh" yesterday.

Barbara and I are both retired and " I have tomorrow off!"

Nice to know you're missed :)
I've been retired coming up 10 years. When I retired, I had to buy a new calendar, one with 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday every week. :ROFLMAO:

Since I retired I really love Mondays and Tuesdays now. I live out in the country but everyone else is either working or in school. The quietness is outstanding. Now everyday is the weekend for me. I just have trouble remembering what day it really is. What a hardship that is :D.

LOL the Lake is empty Mon-Friday. I can sit on the dock, with a good book and an adult beverage and not see a person for hours.
Barbara Kayak 'ed the lake one morning and didn't see one boat.
Even the weekends aren't that busy ..... this year, it seems to have peaked during Covid.

Been thinking about going up on Sunday afternoon and coming back to "The Burgh" on Fridays!
