I have been searching for the last week for a place that has any 10 rd short magazines in stock. Want to buy a pair for going to the range since I like to shoot with a bipod every so often. All I can find are places that are either out of stock, ridiculously priced ($28 each + shipping) or refuse to ship to California (pretty stupid since its a 10 round magazine). I tried searching and couldn't find anything and have exhausted just about every link I could find on google, unless I missed something, but I was hoping someone on here might know where to go. Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up on 44mag. I like CA friendly outfits like them. When time comes I can pay an additional $1.49 each and get 25 rd mags sent to me as rebuild kits.

M & P 22 cal pistol magazines 12 rounds

If anybody is looking for the M & P 12 round 22 cal pistol magazines, S & W has them in stock. I bought two yesterday. The man that I delt with was surprised that they were available. It took me from Tuesday until Thursday, until I got thru on the telephone.

The picture shown on the link is incorrect, but the sku number is for the 15-22 10 round short magazine and I received the correct magazines. $15.51 per magazine + $6 total shipping.

I tried with them, says clearly in their shipping policy that they do not ship to CA, and even if they did, I refuse to do business with any company that has a blanket no CA policy on firearms shipping, there is plenty of stuff that they can legally ship here, if they want to be picky about who they sell to, then I will be picky about who I buy from.

I can't stand when online shops or people on Gunbroker do that.

Cheaper than Dirt is a serious offender, if it even has to do with an AR or AK style rifle they will not ship to CA. The worst part is when they get called out on it and then try to blame it on us, as if the gun owners in this state are electing all these idiot politicians that make up these laws. Cannot wait to move to Arizona.

I was born and raised in California...but you can't blame out-of-state businesses for not wanting to deal with the crazy gun laws that the California babysitter bureaucrats created in this state.

But hey...to each their own and just do what you think is good for you and yours.

another nod to 44mag.com I've done a few orders through them, fast shipping at reasonable $$ and lot's of mags in stock.

Got five (5) shorties from 44mag.com -- great price ($15.99 ea.) + $5.00 shipping and they arrived in the PRM in less than 3 days! I'll be back for more.

Well, just got the shipping info today, so I should have my 4 short mags before the weekend. Going to sell the 2 long 10rd mags that I have, but 4 25rd mags and get the restrictor inserts for them. That way when I go shooting with the GF's uncle in Scottsdale I can have a set of 25 round mags. Like that 44mag will disassemble the 25 rounders in order to ship them to Cali. I will probably be using them exclusively for magazine purchases, as long as the have it, in the future.

I have ordered from .44mag in the past, a great place to do business with. Would just like to add that I'm glad to live in a stae that doesn't have all the bureaucratic BS about firearms & accessories.:D

I am so jealous!!! BTW, I graduated from Owensboro High School in 1961. :)

I wish 44mag would put the 25 rnd mags back down to 15.99 soon, I am wanting to buy a few more! Having two 15-22's to feed now, my 5 mag are not cutting it.

I agree with that 110% it's a bunch of BS. I really like My M&P 9 I do have 3 mags but would like at least 3 more. I don't understand why thats so hard.

John, this thread is two years old, 44mag that they are praising is one of the most blatant of price raisers on hard to find items since the insanity hit.

I do not live in California, but I feel your pain. It is not fair that folks on the far west have to suffer this way while the majority of the States still have our Constitutional rights intact.
Democracy used to mean We the People. Not so these days.

Unfortunately it's a state's rights issue and people just let these local politicians get away with murder. Pay attention to your local politics, it's more important than you think.

Do you guys in compliant states prefer the short mags instead of pinned 25-rounders? I live in nazi NY and my 15-22 came with a 25-round mag pinned to hold only 10. I'm not big on the looks of the short mag, and these are easily modified in about 10 seconds for full capacity if I were to move to another state. So far I have only seen only a single 15-22 that looked good with the short mag. It was a long-barrel rifle that looked like some kind of a long range sniper with the short mag.

Here it is, CL2Zero owns it:

Exactly why we have several items on the menu, I have a pile of 25 round mags that never see the light of day and 10 ten round short mags that are in constant use. Oh yeah, my AR's use 20 rd. mags and the 30's are back up....just personal preference.

I live in a state that does not limit magazine capacity. If I was limited to 10 rounds I like the look of the short magazines better.
