Here’s my opinion:
His petulant, argumentative attitude and behavior here have been obnoxious since he first joined the forum.

My opinion of him is caused directly by him. It’s not an attack, it’s a personal opinion derived from observation.

I see 473 members logged in right now. I look at the screen names and I see names I've never heard a peep out of in the years I've been a member here.
 
I recall that many of Muss’ postings before he disappeared focused on the topic of getting set for a long trail hike, perhaps the Appalachian, although I might be wrong on that. I figured that is what he has been doing and why he has been absent.

Personally, I enjoy his input and very much appreciate his straight-shooter no BS style.

He could very well be cruising the forums still, but he isn't logged in. His profile shows his last visit in September last year.;)

You were the one telling another whom was apologizing for making an insensitive post that at some point it happens to everyone.

Old timers like me remember the free wheeling days where few topics were banned and there were few language rules, mainly don't cuss in the thread's title and no cheesecake girlie pictures. Risque jokes and hard core politics were welcome.

Things change. Many members seem to like it better G rated. Regardless, he who pays the fiddler names the tune and that's the way it should be.

Still a great forum. The way the classified section was cleaned up is a marvel and the archives make this a resource that's one of a kind. I hold my forum membership in high regard.

And, for the record, I like Muss Muggins.
 
Muss — “duly noted,” but — you gonna have to do a lot better than one measly point to catch up with some of the rascals around here....

(A certain member who shall remain nameless to protect hizzer privacy — but who has a dog named Angus and a car named Blue — just got back from what I think must be hizzer fifth or maybe sixth suspension. I think he/she/it probably has the all time career points scored record for the forum, but we have some others who occasionally get hot and run up their scores, too. Provides a fair amount of entertainment for us lesser player types. Keeps the moderators on their toes, too! It’s all good!;) )
