Which 3 would you keep.

Is this a trick question? Everyone knows it is impossible to own only 3 Smith & Wessons.

Despite the fact only 3 is impossible I'll still try....

99% 28 no dash 6" w/ box, docs, tools
4" 66 Wisconsin State Patrol marked
99% 52-2 w/ box, docs, tools and factory barrel weight

This really isn't a fair question, so many others serve a legitimate purpose. A better number would be keep 8.... Or 10!

The correct form of this question is, "Since you will one day own every S&W in the world, what are the first three that you would pick, starting with what's already in your collection?" I refuse to play the other way.

1: Model 586-M 6"
2: Model 625-4 5"

...

Oh, GEEZ this is hard. My EDC J-frame snub? .22LR? My OTHER 586-M 6"?

I guess I'll go sentimental and say the Model 17 my dad gave me, since it WAS the first S&W revolver I owned. Doesn't hurt that it shoots the cheapest ammo.

As long as I can keep my Colts, my Ruger Speed Six, and my H&R 686, I should be able to make a Choice.

I guess I will say

My Model 60 No Dash (Christmas Surprise From Dad)
My Model 13-1 (Love it for some reason)
My Model 67-1.

Funny thing is they all came from the same small Gun Store and I inspected them all. Dad went around my back and bought the 60 without me knowing and hid it til Christmas.

Early post war K22 LERK 98%
Early Post War 38 S&W Terrier 96%
1937 5" Heavy Duty 97%

Until a better example of each one pops up for sale!

Well since I only own one at this time I would say my 2 1/2 inch model 19-3. The next two I will puchase will be a model 66 and a 686 to replace what was stolen from me. I hate crooks

Selling guns

I sell guns because I no longer shoot them or trade them for something different. I don't sell a gun to pay a bill.

When you sell a cherished firearm, you have temporary financial relief. Now where are you in three to six weeks? More bills, no money, and no gun, so do you sell another one?

I've shopped carefully over the past 3 years acquiring what I wanted. Three times I bought a revolver that wasn't on my list, but was "priced right" for me.

Three keepers: S&W 1911 stainless steel target, M586 w/ 2-1/2" barrel, M629 w/ 8-3/8" barrel with Patridge front sight.

This is easy! I assume we are only talking about revolvers. I only have 4 and 2 are duplicates. Sell the dup and I'm left with
