Which holster do you use?

I'll throw another manufacturer into the ring. Can't express how happy I've been with my Firearm Holster.

Been talking about it for months, finally ordered a Kangaroo Carry Holster. Very much looking forward to trying it out. Should work fine for my 640 and the next gun I purchase from the options I've been looking at.

Stay safe, John

N82 Professional IWB for my M&P 45c. Desantis Nemisis for my Ruger LCR .357.

The new Aliengear Cloak 2 Tuk is made to be thinner and more flexable without having it sag with the weight of the gun. The upgrade is to make it more functional, lighter, thinner and as supportive as the original.

I have one on order and will see how it feels compared to my Galco King-Tuk.

I have one of the new neoprene ones and honestly, I don't like it. I never had one of their leather backed ones to compare it to, but this one seems like it has too much give to it and lets the gun (I have a Shield) press through the backing too much. I'll still give it another chance and experiment with it some more, but so far, my Little Foxx holster easily beats it. I was hoping for more from them, but I just don't think it will be for me.

If you are looking for an IWB, I can tell you that in my 27 years as an LEO, I have never found a more comfortable IWB that the N82 Tactical professional which can be found here:

You didn't say what you wanted it for. But if it's just a general purpose storage kind of holster I just use on of the cheap one's from Holster Man on Ebay. For $20 you can't beat it for housing your pistola and one extra mag. Other carry holsters? There are hundreds to choose from. I like the hybrid kydex IWB styles like KingTuk. But there are too many to name all of 'em. But for just storing it in the nightstand or glove compartment and wanting that extra mag close by, the el-cheapo's from Holster Man are great.

I prefer leather for IWB use. You can't go wrong with Milt Sparks, SSIi or Versa MaxII. They are not cheap, but they fit well and last for decades. You also are looking at 10-16 weeks wait, but worth it in my opinion. YMMV

I carry IWB, I have a Bladetech IWB, I'm also waiting for my AlienGear IWB Holster, but summer has been hot and I am simply using my Aegis Armory Trigger Guardian, I don't mind the feel of my pistol against my body and as a big guy with a belly, it doesn't get any better, only drawback is two hand reholster, not too much of a concern for everyday carry though. Maybe not ideal for the range. My two cents...

Aliengear
Aegis Armory
Bladetech

Also look into Foxx Holsters. Do your research, youtube like crazy and get one you think will fit your body and lifestyle.

I bought a g-code Incog for IWB.

I had one for my Glock and after that nothing else is acceptable. Easy to forget you're carrying it.

G-code has a LONG wait, about six weeks, but it was well worth it.

I carry IWB using Striker holsters from Nate Gable at UBG Holsters. I highly recommend his work.

My Strikers are all just plain leather but if you want to get fancy, especially if you plan to pocket or OWB carry, Nate does work with a variety of exotic skins so you can personalize your holster (for a price). He also has a Facebook page and you can view some of his work there. There is also a discount code listed though I don't know for how much.

When not on my body I use Nemesis holsters by DeSantis Holsters. Good for car door pockets/consoles, bed side stands, desk drawers, etc.

Although you didn't ask I also carry a spare magazine using a horizontal magholder from MagHolder Online Store. Very comfortable and accessable. Another product I would recommend.

OWB Bianchi Black Widow for 9c. My M&P has a safety. Whatever you get, OWB or IWB, make sure that's covered, they have a tendency to wipe off if they're not, as they're not heavy in their operation like a 1911, too soft for me.

I just received a holster from Tommy Theis @ Theisholsters.com and I can say it is one of the Best holster i have ever had, The fit and finish of this thing is amazing, Have not had the chance to wear it yet but the leather is so smooth and soft i don't think it will take long to break it in...
I'll second the Theis. Just ordered an IWB single clip holster for my Shield.
