What he ^ said. Works great for me and I often forget I'm wearing it, That is a first for me with about 20 years of concealed carry under my belt,.......pun intended. I attribute that to both the firearm and the holster designs.

I do however recommend putting some loctite on the screws, (holster) as they seem to magically loosen over a couple of weeks or so somehow. No other complaints at all.

I am having pretty good luck with a Cross Breed for the Shield.Used one before with a 1911 and it felt great after a brief break in period.

You're going to get 20 different answers, and frankly it depends on your build and preference. I have a Stealth Gear Onyx which is my favorite, but I also have others. There are several recent threads on this topic.

You'll get a wide variety of preferences, probably not enough agreement to help you decide on anything. But since you asked, I like the Galco Tuck n Go. It's got the stealthiest belt hook I've seen. Goes between the pants and the belt, with only a little nib showing at the bottom of the belt.

Desantis Cozy Partner.....Had it on for only about a week....first day, I realized what everyone means by having a good belt, I had a regular belt, and carrying sucked!!! Went to Academy and they had a real nice Browning 1-1/2" belt on clearance for $9.99, its super stiff, and man it made a world of difference....but since I have had the belt, I do not even notice its there.....

Comptac MTAC. It's a good holster. I'm waiting for Milt Sparks to start making the Criterion for the Shield. I have one of those for my G19 and it's the finest IWB holster I know of.

Check out Garrett industries at Garrett Industries, LLC Designers/Manufacturers of Custom Kydex and Leather Holsters and Tactical Gear I have a GX made by them that is leather lined kydex front and leather back .. don't even know your wearing it .. The GX can be worn from 1 to 5:30 .. other models also .. have one for my 40c and just ordered another GX for the new Sig Sauer P238 HD I just bought .. don't have the Sig or the holster for it but have worn the 40c for almost a year now ..

What I like about the leather lined kydex it doesn't mar the finish of the pistol ..

I have had this N8 for over a year.
It looks bulky but is so comfortable you forget you are wearing it! It uses a single clip mount which makes it very easy to put on. The other one in the picture is for a Ruger LC.

For my Shield my primary carry holster is my Jel Tech My best 25$ spent, They are hand made one at a time!

I got an alien gear tuck 3.0 for my MP fs and my shield. I get my shield this week. The fs fits great in the holster and is pretty comfortable for a fs.
