Which mount for AimPoint 3x?

Hey guys... Long time listener, first time caller. Bought my first AR-style firearm a few months back and it was a S&W M&P10. I've put about 400 rounds through it to break it in and after the first 50 or so it has ran like a hot knife through butter (smooth). Anyways... I've got an AimPoint PRO mounted on the 10 now. I want to buy the 3x Magnifier and a LaRue Tactical Pivot Mount to throw behind it to make it a little easier on the eyes at 100+ yards. I like the idea of being able to pivot the magnifier in and out of the way as the situation might call for it. Which LaRue Pivot Mount do I want to buy to make sure the 3x Magnifier will line up to my AimPoint PRO seamlessly? I see they offer a short and tall pivot mount and I don't know which one would be the best fit. Thanks in advance for all replies and any help you guys can give!

Using the supplied Aimpoint mount on your Pro or do you have a LT mount? If LT which one?

Oh forgot that detail... It is on the supplied mount but I am not against an Lt mount. I was reading they are much better than the supplied mount.

I run the LT649 with my aimpoint magnifier. They dont make this model anymore. I have an Aimpoint T1 with a LT660 mount that works well with it. The LT 649-3T should be 1.72 (top of the rail to the center of the optic). Not sure on the newer 755 model.

Your best bet call Larue or email them. They have excellent customer service and I've had great luck getting advice from them via phone and email.

I use the LT755 with a Primary Arms 3x magnifier on my PRO on a flat top DDM4v5. It lines up perfectly.

I went with the Primary Arms because I knew I wouldn't use the magnifier a lot. I've been really happy with it, especially for the difference in price.
