I have a couple model 10's. One is a 10-6 1973 vintage in about 80-85% condition. It has the standard wood grips. My other is a 10-11 former police revolver(I have no info as to which police dept it was issued to etc) with the number 78 stamped on the side. It is in about 85-90% condition. It is a 1999 yr model with rubber grips. I am considering selling one and using the proceeds towards the possible purchase of an adjustable site S&W 38 special of some sort. Assuming they both shoot about the same, which one should I sell, and which one should I keep with future value going forward as the main consideration?? Or is there any difference to speak of, in which case I just keep the one I like best?

If it were me, I think I would sell the 10-11.

The 73' version will have a slightly higher value because it's pinned, unmarred by the police stamping and is percieved by some to have a higher build quality/vintage. It would be the one I kept .
