That was a very nice and well rehearsed speech Mr. Obama gave. Too bad N.Y. governor Cuomo and the other democrats decided to stab their leader in the back before he even said a word. Contradicting the president was a big mistake and will cost the democrats dearly. You never show your hand too soon and that's exactly what they did. What I mean by that is this, Obama said all they were interested in is the so called assault weapons but by limiting a magazine to only seven your rendering many popualr pistols next to useless, weapons according to their own words are NOT considered assault weapons. A seven round G-17 and M&P full size pistols ? Who makes a magazine for that ? And who would want one ? Now for the truth. All the democrats want to do is get their foot in the door and take a way our rights a little at a time. If I was the president I'd be pretty ticked off about what Cuomo did. Oh, If only the governor could have waited just a few more months til they passed their useless new laws Cuomo would have been a hero to Obama. Hey ! It was a nice try Mr. Obama. And I love how he thanked the little girl for her letter, very nice touch. My advice to Mr. Obama is this, get everyone on board before you give your next speech, this way you won't look like an idiot again.
